Your comics, and rebuilding

You keep the rights to the comics you make. Publishing one here grants two separate permissions, and it is worth being clear about both.

To this site: permission to store, display and promote your comic — on the site, in its feeds, and in link previews when someone shares it.
To other people: unless you mark a panel as not rebuildable, your published comic is licensed to everyone else under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0). They may regenerate its panels, re-letter it and build on it, provided they credit you and do not sell the result. Each comic's page shows the licence it carries.

This is what makes rebuilding lawful rather than merely possible: the feature has always been open by default, so the licence states what everyone was already relying on. You can turn rebuilding off per panel, and a comic marked all rights reserved grants other users nothing beyond reading it.

A rebuild is its own comic, licensed the same way, and credit runs back to the original author. Deleting your comic stops it being displayed here; it does not withdraw a licence someone already relied on for a rebuild they made.

AI-generated content

Generated images come from third-party AI providers. The site does not guarantee uniqueness, copyright clearance, or fitness for any purpose. You're responsible for the prompts you submit.

Account

Account creation requires an invitation link.
You're responsible for keeping your recovery password safe.
Accounts may be banned for violating these terms.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. The operator is not liable for content loss, downtime, or damages from use of the service.
